What LearnManager collects
LearnManager is a parent-directed learning app. We collect the information needed to set up a parent account, create child profiles, assign and play learning activities, provide support, process billing, and keep the service safe.
- Parent account data such as the authentication provider and an email address when provided through Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Parent-provided child data such as first name or nickname, declared age, interests, selected learning goals, and activity progress.
- Activity data such as prompts submitted by the parent, generated activity content, assignment history, completion state, and feedback.
- Support data such as support message text, optional contact email, optional screenshot path, diagnostic identifiers, and timestamps.
- Billing data handled by Stripe, including subscription status and customer identifiers needed to provide paid features.
- Crash, performance, and security diagnostics from service providers such as Sentry, Supabase, and Cloudflare.
How child information is used
Child information is used only to personalize and deliver learning activities, support parent-controlled assignments, remember progress, and troubleshoot the service. We do not sell child information, use child information for behavioral advertising, or ask children for direct contact information.
Activity generation may send a limited allowlist of learning context to Anthropic through LearnManager-controlled Supabase and Cloudflare infrastructure: child first name or nickname, declared age or age band, interests, selected predefined goal, parent-friendly level, parent prompt, and relevant activity history summaries. We do not send parent email, Apple ID, exact birthdate, billing data, support messages, or unrelated profile fields for generation.
Parents control setup and deletion
Parents can access and update profile information in the app. Parents can request account deletion from Settings, which starts a server-backed deletion flow for account, child, activity, storage, subscription, and support data according to legal retention requirements.

Service providers
LearnManager uses subprocessors to operate the service: Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and Edge Functions; Cloudflare for Workers, hosting, isolation, and security; Anthropic for AI activity generation; Sentry for crash reporting; Stripe for subscription billing; and PostHog for build-2 product analytics. In the app, PostHog uses a persisted random analytics distinct/install identifier and adds standard app/SDK version, OS/device, session, locale, timezone, network context, and IP-derived coarse location because IP anonymization is currently disabled for the production PostHog project. Public activity/share analytics use a pseudonymous event identifier made from the public activity short ID and a truncated hash of the connecting IP address, and include Cloudflare country plus public activity/share properties. These pseudonymous public-share identifiers are sent with PostHog person-profile processing disabled, but they are not anonymous. App-authored event fields are allowlisted and include internal activity and attempt identifiers, surface, activity type, timing or score, and sharing state. PostHog does not receive child names, declared age or age band, skill or topic tags, parent email, raw account or child identifiers, prompts, support text, exact interests, billing identifiers, or authentication tokens. App person profiles, public-share person-profile processing, route/screen observation, automatic lifecycle capture, session replay, surveys, advertising identifiers, and cross-company tracking are disabled.
Push notifications are optional and permission-gated. LearnManager does not request notification permission at startup. On the final onboarding notification page or in Settings, you can choose Allow or Not now; Not now completes onboarding without registering for push. If you allow notifications, LearnManager collects a per-install identifier, notification permission status, platform, and Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token linked to your account and app installation so it can deliver and route notifications. You can turn notifications off in Settings to unregister the current installation.
Tracking and advertising
LearnManager does not use IDFA, does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, and does not track users across other companies apps or websites for advertising.
Retention and security
We retain data while an account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce terms. We use access controls, private storage for support screenshots, service-role server paths for privileged actions, and isolated Cloudflare Workers for generated web activities.
